Ingredients (2 persons' portion)

1 chicken thigh
vegetable oil
shichimi (seven flavor chili pepper) to taste
2 tablespoons mentsuyu (seasoning soy sauce)
  1. Pierce the chicken thigh with a bamboo skewer or fork, and slice into easy-to-eat sizes.
  2. Coat the chicken prepared in 【1】 with the vegetable oil, and sprinkle on the shichimi pepper. Rub the chicken to make it absorb the shichimi.
  3. Heat a frying pan and place the chicken in it, skin-side down. When browned, flip the chicken over. Cover the pan, and continue to cook.
  4. When cooked through, pour on the mentsuyu so that the chicken is coated with the sauce completely.
